Profile.

1972: Born in Nagoya, his grandfather is Tokuro Kato and his father is Shigetaka Kato.
1994: He traveled overland from China to Western Europe, and spent a year and a half in Spain, where he sharpened his artistic sense.
Since then, he has held solo exhibitions in various locations.
1998: “Japan-India Cultural Exchange Exhibition” (India)
2003: Contemporary Japanese Ceramics “Reception and Transmission” (Tokyo Teien Art Museum)
2008: Three Generations of Kato Tokuro, Shigetaka, and Takahiro Exhibition (Nagoya Maruei, Kikuchi Kanjitsu Memorial Tomo Museum)
