This porcelain tea bowl was created by Kyoto-based ceramic artist Mutsumi Takayanagi.
The entire surface is decorated with delicate hand-painted patterns. The beautiful cobalt blue and pure white porcelain create an elegant and refined appearance.
Every detail, from the interior to the foot of the bowl, is carefully painted, revealing something new from every angle.
While rooted in the tradition of Japanese blue-and-white porcelain, this work also reflects Takayanagi’s contemporary artistic sensibility. A beautiful tea bowl that can be appreciated both as a functional vessel and as a work of ceramic art.
