Biography

1973:
Born in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.

1997:
Graduated from the Advanced Ceramic Science Program at Tajimi Technical High School, Gifu.

2012:
Received the Encouragement Award at the Shoroku Award Exhibition.
Participated in *Nature, Tradition and Innovation in USA* (2012?2018).

2014:
Selected for the International Ceramics Festival Mino.

2017:
Exhibited in *Contemporary Tea Ceramics* at the Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum.

2019:
Participated in *Beyond the Tokonoma* at the Minokamo City Museum, Gifu.

2020:
Work acquired for the Jeffrey and Carol Horvitz Collection.

2023:
Solo exhibition at Nihombashi Mitsukoshi, Tokyo.

2024:
Solo exhibition at JR Nagoya Takashimaya.

2025:
Selected for the Paramita Museum Ceramic Art Grand Prize Exhibition.
