1975: Born in Kagoshima prefecture.
1995: Started his careere as a potter.
2002: Opened a studio in Itoshima, Fukuoka Prefecture.
Studied under Naoki Kojima of Sogen Kiln.
2008: Moved his studio and opened Sankyo Kiln.
2018: Solo exhibition at Nomura Museum of Art.
2019: Selected for the “Chanoyu no zokei Exhibition” at the Tanabe Museum of Art.
2020: Selected for the “Contemporary Tea Ceramics Exhibition” and “Mino Tea Bowl Exhibition”.
He is an potter who is drawn to the charm of ancient ceramics that are considered masterpieces today, such as Richo, Korai pottery, and also Oku-Gorai, Old Karatsu.
He has tried various techniques and styles, and all of his works are of a high level.
